The holiday rush is right around the corner, and that means your business needs a marketing plan focused on reaching this eager audience as they prepare to shop. A 2016 AMG/Parade survey found that 62% of consumers rely on newspaper advertising (print, digital, inserts, etc.) when shopping for holiday sales and deals. Consumers have a high level of trust in newspaper media, so it makes perfect sense that this is the leading advertising platform for holiday shoppers.
The study also found, that it’s not just newspapers that they rely on. 61% of shoppers rely on point of sale circulars and another 55% looked at advertising delivered to their home for guidance. It’s apparent that advertising in print continues to be a trusted source for consumers to learn about promotions and sales.
The holiday season is likely the busiest time of year for your business. Make the most of it, and promote your business in the media platforms that are considered to be most reliable to ensure consumers will engage with your message.
