Creating Consumer Engagement at Events | Wicked Local Media Solutions

Live events offer a great opportunity for you to showcase your products and services to consumers who are looking to engage with businesses like yours. An event allows you to meet with potential customers face-to-face and present your goods or services to them in person.

Consumers attend events to create relationships and educate themselves on the items and businesses being displayed. That may be in the form of seeing a featured performer or taking part in an exclusive demonstration. No matter the reason, it provides a great opportunity to market your business face-to-face with these guests. You may not be the reason they are there, but you want to make sure they remember your name when they leave.

On February 21st, Wicked Local’s 2nd Winter Funcation will bring hundreds of parents and children to the Kingston Collection in Kingston, Massachusetts. The day of free family fun includes live entertainment, a fashion show, photo opportunities with costumed characters, face painting, balloon twisters, a Funcation photo booth, and so much more.

This event is ideal for businesses that offer products and services for kids. But don’t forget that while the children are entertained, their parents are the consumers. Your hardware store can offer them tools and paint for a new room makeover. Your athletic club can conduct an hour of exercise for parents who are looking for an outlet. Your spa can offer potential clients a moment of zen.

Live events offer small businesses a great place to meet local consumers and show them that they are active members of the community. Having a presence will allow you to engage with customers and show them how you can be a valuable resource for them.
