Customer testimonials aren’t necessarily about selling your products and services. Instead, they are intended to help you build trust with new customers. When you give satisfied clients the opportunity to inform the public about their positive involvement with your company, they become a brand ambassador for your business. When these customers become loyal advocates, their reviews and endorsement of your business are going to be seen as more trusting than just an ad promoting your services.
We have a video testimonial, that was produced by our partner Propel Marketing, from a customer who has seen success after using our social media marketing tool. The Ridge Club in Sandwich, Massachusetts was able to market their business to new customers using social media and saw immediate responses from people looking to become members in person and online.
In this video, the customer discusses how happy Ridge Club is with the results of the marketing campaign. Her tone and message are clear; she’s thrilled with the results and would recommend the social media marketing package to any business.
When you conduct your customer testimonial interviews, ask them why they trust your business? What keeps them coming back? Have their message to potential consumers be about how easy it is to trust your business. An enthusiastic, positive customer testimonial is an important tool when building your company’s reputation as a trustworthy member of the community.
