The days are getting longer and the temperature is getting warmer. Summer is approaching. As May turns into June the beaches will be full of swimmers and sun bathers. Today’s Throwback Thursday takes a look at what Falmouth Heights looked like in the early 1900s.
This postcard shows a beach scene that wasn’t uncommon to Cape Cod’s first planned summer resort. Since the late 19th century, Falmouth Heights has been a vacation destination. Activities include swimming, boating, taking a trip to Martha’s Vineyard, and even watching a baseball game.
