Throwback Thursday: A Holiday Concert in Framingham, Massachusetts

Posted by Nick Pizzolato on Thu, Dec 10, 2015 @ 11:22 AM

How do you get someone into the holiday spirit? Simple, play some festive music for them. There’s something about hearing a familiar tune every year at the same time that makes those celebrating the holidays feel excited for the season. This weekend, the MetroWest Daily News will hold their annual holiday concert and food drive at Nevins Hall in Framingham, Massachusetts.

Last year’s show was a fantastic success and we’re excited to welcome back the Northeast Navy Pops Ensemble as the featured musical act. The Ensemble is made up of 35 musicians who all serve in the United States Navy and take part in ceremonies and concerts in the Northeast United States throughout the year. The MetroWest Daily News will also partner with MetroWest Harvest and encourages all guests to donate a non-perishable food item before the concert begins.

Will you be going to the concert? We’d love to see your pictures from the event. Please send them to Wicked Local Media Solutions or tweet us @WLMediaSolution.
