Throwback Thursday: A Snowy Main Street in Watertown

This photo, taken in Watertown on Main Street in 1919, shows intrepid customers braving a recent snowfall and the elements to go shopping. It’s a scene that is probably very similar to what many customers are dealing with today, after this week’s storm. Consumers will always need to shop and run their day-to-day errand, so a little, or a lot, of snow won’t stop businesses, like Lester’s Dry Goods, from staying open for them.
