Throwback Thursday: Celebrate the Holidays at Edaville Railroad

This photo, taken in 2011, is of Edaville Railroad, in Carver, Massachusetts. Edaville has become a destination for families looking to immerse themselves in the holiday spirit. Each year, their train tours around the 250 acre cranberry farm and travels past festive light displays and decorations. Hop on the train, and if it’s cold enough, share a cup of hot chocolate with your family. Create a winter memory and tradition with your family.

Edaville was founded by Ellis D. Atwood in the mid-1900s and was at first just a train that toured local cranberry bogs. As the popularity of the ride began to climb, he turned one train into an amusement park. Edaville was purchased by Jon Delli Priscoli in 2002, and since has been reconfigured to offer families a new park experience.

Have you been, or are you planning to go to Edaville this winter? We’d love to see your pictures! Please send them to Wicked Local Media Solutions or tweet us @WLMediaSolution.
