Throwback Thursday: The Holiday Season Begins

There’s something about the holiday season that inspires people to decorate their homes with intricate light displays and models. Maybe it’s because we want to show off how much we enjoy the final month of the year. Perhaps, we are so discouraged at the early darkness, we want fake sunlight by lighting up the block. Whatever the reason, many families who celebrate different holidays during this time of year decorate their homes, much to the delight of their community. Like this home Wicked Local Cape Cod found last year.

In some towns, where light displays are over the top and numerous, there are actual tours and maps made up to help people find the homes that are lit up. Do you go touring holiday homes or are you one those homeowners whose home attracts visitors?

We would love to see the photos of your home, or your favorite homees. Please send them to Wicked Local Media Solutions or tweet us @WLMediaSolution.
