Since the early 1900s, Beverly, Massachusetts has celebrated “Old Home Week” with gusto. In 1902, the week of observance was started by Governor W. Murray Crane as a way for Massachusetts towns to celebrate their past and recognize how their history made the present possible. In 1966, a celebration known as Homecoming Week started and has made Beverly a tourist destination.
The city celebrates with music, food, a 5K road race, a lobster festival, a giant block party on Cabot Street, fireworks and much more. What are some of your favorite Homecoming Week memories?
