Today’s Throwback Thursday post isn’t a picture but an event. THE event for those who live in Southeastern Massachusetts. Tomorrow, The Marshfield Fair opens for the 147th time! From August 21st through the 30th, the fairgrounds will be open for people to enjoy carnival rides, play games, snack on fair food, check out a petting zoo, listen to music, watch animal competitions, and more. Plus, the annual demolition derby, which is always a crowd favorite.
The Marshfield Fair has grown over the years and has become a true destination for local and visiting families. It’s one of the few fairs in the state that offer something for everyone. The thrill seekers, the animal lovers, those who like to win stuffed teddy bears, and those that want to see the epic destruction of cars from the 80’s and 90’s. What are some of your favorite memories of the Marshfield Fair.
Do you have pictures from attending the fair in the past? We would love to see what’s changed and what’s stayed the same.
