Step 1: Your Google Account

The first step is to login to your Google account. This is the username and password you use to sign on to GMail or Youtube. In the last blog, I mentioned that the fact Google's greatest strength is that all of its properties are all connected. Even if you've never created a Google Plus account, your Google login acts as your key.

Once you've logged in, in the top right hand corner of the screen there will be an icon that will give you access to your Google Plus account.

You most likely have a Facebook profile. Maybe you’ve dabbled in LinkedIn. Perhaps you’ve looked at Twitter and just didn’t get it. Pinterest, Youtube, and Instagram are probably sites you are aware of, even if you don’t use them.

But what have you heard about Google Plus? Besides the noise that vocal critics of the platform shared when it was launched.
